An old friend of mine

Friends.

Cant live without em’. Have u ever thought of what it wud be like if one has no frens? Just imagine urself. No one knows you. No one talks to you at school. They don’t wanna look at u coz they don’t care. Ur all alone. And what if u’re in a class where everyone only thinks of themselves, it makes things worse.

I know how it feels like. I’ve once been a new student. At that time I was too scared and shy to make new friends. My classmates, they don’t care. They already HAVE their friends. But I’ve yet to know that it only takes one simple ‘Hi’ and ur making a difference.
That was like ages ago…. But still experiences like this make u feel lucky that u have great friends around u and ur not alone.

My special people list on the left column, all the people in that list have changed me. They made a difference to MY life. And once someone is IN the list, he or she never leaves it. Its permanent. For one particular person in that list, I wanted to cancel him out, but I just can’t. Why? He used to be my friend, USED TO be a GREAT friend. Yea he used to. Now? Well I just don’t know about now. His name is…..

This guy was special from the moment he stepped into BV. 2006, it was the first day of the exams ( LOL ) and he came here. The class and I got all excited when there’s a new student. When he intro-ed himself to the class, he said he was from china. “Heya ma name’s Jackie and I’m from China” ..Australian slang. He was grinning, lol he made us all smile. It was a whole new beginning. I talked to him first. I saw that he was a talented artist. Just like me… I really cant believe it. First Rio from indon, and now Jackie from Australia!! This guy had yet to know that he was gonna be the most-awesome-guy at school, and I had became his first friend in a Singaporean school.

From then on, Jackie and I did a lot of stuff together. I helped him get along with the others at school, in return he keeps me company. We stuck together most of the time. He was amazing. Amazingly funny. His popularity grew rapidly and people liked him a LOT. His bubbly charm, wits, sense of humour, athletic build, outstanding personality and his trust..what more can you want from a friend? Here are some things that I enjoyed when I was with him..

>Me and Jackie shared a lot of music. We traded songs and listened to them and sometimes we’d sing. Sometimes we’d change the words

>We’d go to the library where he’d show me his drawings of his old-school frends at Australia. He draws a lot of cartoons, mostly superheroes. We wanted to do a project on turning our class into superheroes, and we were halfway thru but we didn’t finish it. Instead we’d think of hero names, and the silliest pwers, such as the ability to make clothes disappear and the ability to make ppl steam. :x….

>We’d talk crap. Yup that’s the best part. Bursting out with laughter at the lamest things. We’d tell jokes, make fun of people, say weird lines, speak foreign accent( mostly Jamaican), and crap about life. We’d turn the most serious situations into mere jokes, and Jackie would say the silliest things at the most unexpected times. One of the most memorable was the funny names we’d make up ( eg. Hugh Jazz, Ken I. Kisyu , Homer Sexualle, Dick Burnswell etc..)And we’d laugh about it until our guts ache. *sigh* good times.

And once in a while he would show me the wackiest vids on Youtube and I’d do the same to him. He introduced me to South Park and The family Guy which was madly hilarious…


Back in those days, I couldn’t imagine how happy I was. No one else in school, besides <3<3, could make me happy.Last year before school reopened, I went to the bedok library with Jackie to do our new project, which is a comic. Unfortunately that failed as well, and it was the last thing we EVER did together. Jackie came into 3NA this year and we began to talk less and less. Later on, Jackie hung out a lot with Marcus and his new frends who were there in our 2e3 class all along. It was like, when I hung out with him, I deprived him from the cooler guys who played soccer, and talked at the same crap level.

One day Marcus told me on msn ‘Jackie wants me to tell u to stop sticking to him like a fucking leech’. Wow. I asked him what’d I do, but actually he told me he didn’t mean it dat way. And he said I used to be very lame and bla bla.. and he said ‘I foot hating u, juz telling u’ Did he really mean it ? It was sad. I never knew It could ever turn out like this. What made him say that? Day by day its like we drifted apart like clouds. He never ever talks anymore, not even making eye contact. I dared not talk to him anymore, sms nor on msn.

He seems much more happier with the other popular guys. Well I guess its just meant to be. Good things always come to an end, even if u didn’t expect it to end. I know I still had frends like Raja, John and all the other great guys and even <3<3>
