Rising Star

Watching a friend taking a first step towards his/her dream is truly inspiring. Especially if that step is more like a giant leap. Sometimes you just never know what great potential lies within a person, and you're really amazed when they finally show it. Talent, that's one gift we should never take for granted.

I watched Shirley sang her heart out at the superstar finals today. I could hardly believe it was the friend I knew, coz from what I saw, she was definitely superstar material. She blowed us all away with her awesome vocals...

Makes me wonder how much brighter she would shine in the future.. and I wonder how I would do the same... Wow... Everyone will have their moment one day.

Shirley's motto has always been 'Be The One'. Just goes to show that with enough hope, faith and the will to achieve, we'll all Be The One we're meant to be. :D
